I’m Mayflare, a member of Mayflare Magic studio — yuri fan, game developer, and sci-fi writer.
I received offers / admission from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) ETC and Duke GDDI, and ultimately chose the HKUST Guangzhou (HKUST GZ) MFA.
I read widely across games, film, and literature — especially K.J. Parker’s cool, precise, darkly funny craft.
I love designing emergence: simple rules that collide into surprising behavior, as in Throng: Evolution.
I build with Unity and Ren’Py. Long-running projects include Lastrip (a Mayflare Magic post-apocalyptic yuri VN) and the online sandbox Xenia Kingdom.
